SCOPE

Scope falls primarily into the category of programming designed to convey specific STEM content, though its profiles and guests often reveal how scientists think and work. The series presenter is Robert James Bell (aka "Dr Rob"), a science education officer for the CSIRO in Brisbane. He holds a PhD in Material Chemistry.

Scope outreach and support is closely linked to two other CSIRO projects: Science by E-Mail and The Double Helix Science Club. The former is a weekly e-mail of science news, facts, activities and events, for use either at home or in the classroom. The latter is a subscription-based magazine with additional benefits at CSRO science education centers across Australia.
